Freedom Transit System

Freedom Transit is a passenger and a long haul freight system. The passenger system will utilize electric vehicles to transport single passengers or families along a high speed automated platform between metropolitan areas throughout the United States. The platform roadway could be built above or beside existing interstate highways. A variety of vehicle body types and technical adaptations could be manufactured to work in the Freedom Transit system. The passenger could rent a car at the station to embark on a trip or use his own electric vehicle, provided that the vehicle has the proper modifications for automated travel and passes the entrance worthiness tests and calibrations.
The long-haul freight system would use the same roadway. However, it would use electric, automated truck cabs to pull existing freight trailers across the country on a heavy-duty platform built above or next to existing railroad tracks and accessed via freight terminals. Conventional or electric truck cabs would deliver these trailers to their final destination from regional freight terminals.
